Essex 2023-2024 Annual Report
On Nov. 18th 2024 The Essex Board of Finance dedicated the 2023-2024 Annual Report to the Ivoryton Village Alliance(IVA) and the Essex Board of Trade (EBOT).
As noted by the First Selectman, “both organizations represent the business community in Town and do a great job of organizing events and fostering community spirit”.
Together, these groups contribute greatly to the strength and prosperity of our Town, bringing vitality to the three villages.

The mission of the Ivoryton Alliance is to create a sense of community for the residents living in Ivoryton Village.
It’s been a chilly spring in Ivoryton, CT but the Village daffodils put on a display and the Knock Out Roses are spectacular on the walkway to the Ivoryton Playhouse & the left side of the Ivoryton Library.
The Ivoryton Playhouse has opened it’s 2024 Season and is well underway with fantastic shows, Visit their web site ivorytonplayhouse.org
Ivoryton Village has the following restaurants to enjoy before the show: Ivoryton Tavern, Blue Hound Cookery or Brickside Pizza.

Ivoryton Village Alliance “Welcome Gift Bags”
Ivoryton Village Alliance has also started a new venture: Distributing IVA Welcome Gift Bags. This is to Welcome new residents to Ivoryton, CT. The Welcome Gift Bag has items from local businesses in Ivoryton Village that includes coupons, tickets brochures & flyers. Ivoryton, CT is so fortunate that people have chosen to move to our Village.
Volunteers are the Foundation of the Ivoryton Village Alliance
We encourage residents of Ivoryton to be involved in the fabric of our community by volunteering and donating their time, talents & expertise, few examples of how you can help carve pumpkins, hang Christmas lights for Ivoryton Illuminations.
