10 Trunk-or-Treat Registration Spots Remaining

I, the undersigned participant, hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms as a condition for participating in the Trunk or Treat event:

1. Vehicle Registration and Insurance:

   • I affirm that the vehicle I am using for the Trunk or Treat event is legally registered and insured in accordance with the laws of the state of Connecticut

   • I understand that I am solely responsible for maintaining valid registration and insurance on my vehicle for the duration of the event.
      

2. Assumption of Risk:

   • I acknowledge that participating in the Trunk or Treat event involves certain risks, including but not limited to risks associated with the operation of a motor vehicle and the potential for accidents.

   • I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in this event.
      

3. Release of Liability:

   • I hereby release and hold harmless Town of Essex Connecticut, Essex Parks and Recreation Department, Ivoryton Village Alliance and any affiliated organizations, their employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury (including death) that may be sustained by me or my vehicle, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, during the course of my participation in the event.
      

4. Indemnification:

   • I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Town of Essex Connecticut, Essex Parks and Recreation Department, Ivoryton Village Alliance and any affiliated organizations from any and all costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to my participation in the event.
      

5. Compliance with Event Rules:

   • I agree to comply with all event rules and regulations as set forth by the event organizers, including but not limited to safety protocols and vehicle placement instructions.
